The draft ‘Everyone Together’ Aboriginal Affairs Strategy 2019-2029 (Strategy) provides a way for the Northern Territory Government to reshape how it engages with Aboriginal Territorians.
The way we do business needs to improve and change to support community aspirations. We will do this by working together to build genuine partnerships, improve government coordination, service delivery and ensure Aboriginal Territorians take a lead role in decision-making matters that involve them, their families and communities. The Strategy identifies where we need to improve outcomes for Aboriginal Territorians and will resolve these issues by placing Aboriginal families, children and communities in the centre of government policy design and service delivery.
The Aboriginal Affairs Strategy will be available here for comment until 16 October.
