Consultation has concluded
Aboriginal and non-Indigenous textiles and fashion is an exciting emerging growth industry with potential to build further economic connections between the Northern Territory (NT) and fashion industry.
The Northern Territory Government committed to undertake a feasibility study into the development of a textile printing and fashion manufacturing hub, one of the key recommendations of the Creative Industries Strategy NT 2020-2024.
The purpose of the study is to investigate the economic viability of and demand for a textile printing and fashion manufacturing hub in the Northern Territory based on current and future markets. PricewaterhouseCoopers who have a permanent presence in the NT and have worked successfully throughout the NT, are delivering the feasibility study.
A number of local key stakeholders across the NT will be consulted as part of the project, as well as interstate and international fashion outlets and manufacturers.
Your responses in this short survey will form an integral component of the feasibility study as it will capture and assess a variety of perspectives, experience and expertise from across the Northern Territory and the cultural and creative sector more broadly.
The closing date for the online survey is Sunday, 28 March 2021.
