Towards Zero - Have your say on road safety in the NT
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LinkedinEmail this link
Consultation has concluded
The Northern Territory Government is seeking input for the development of a new Road Safety Action Plan for the Territory.
The plan will set new a direction for how the unacceptably high number of deaths and serious injuries on our roads can be reduced and change how we all think about being safer road users.
A discussion paper and a summary document have been prepared to guide feedback and to start the conversation about road safety by examining the causes of our significant road safety problems in the Northern Territory and proposing priority areas for action.
We would like your views and ideas, including about the following key priority areas:
alcohol and drugs
seatbelts and child restraints
speed and driving to the conditions
road and roadsides
vulnerable road users (Indigenous people, young drivers and motorcyclists).
