Portable Long Service Leave Scheme

The Northern Territory Government is considering the introduction of a portable long service leave scheme for the community services sector similar to those in Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory.

To assist with this project, the Northern Territory Government has commissioned a feasibility study.

In undertaking the study, it is seeking the views of:

• Employers in the community services sector
• Employees in the community services sector
• Unions with coverage in the community services sector

This consultation will close Friday 3 July 2020.
