The 2021 People Matter was held from February 22 – March 12 2021 for all employees of the NTPS. The main purpose of the People Matter employee survey is to understand how NTPS employees feel about the workplace: their job, their managers and their organisation. This information gives insights into how engaged we are, how satisfied we are in our jobs and what drives engagement in each organisation. Higher engagement supports good customer service and productive teams.

Based on what you told us in the 2021 survey, the whole sector key areas for action are:

  1. Senior management (CEOs and senior executives): Communicating the vision and direction of the organisation. This is the number one key driver of employee engagement at the whole sector level
  2. Employee performance management and feedback: Continuing to build on ensuring all of our employees know what is expected of them, have a documented performance plan in place, and receive feedback on what they are doing well and what they could improve.
  3. Inappropriate workplace behaviours

Did we get it right? Please review the Response Plan and then complete our short survey. The survey will be open until 25 June 2021.
