Workforce capability is our combined experience, skills, knowledge, talent and potential.

Having a 360 ̊ view of our workforce capability means we can deliver the right services Territorians need to run their businesses and live their everyday lives.

It allows us to be agile, collaborate across agencies and react in times of need, such as during COVID-19. It can help us plan for the future, introduce strategies to address gaps and capitalise on opportunities.

Registering your experience, skills, knowledge, talent and potential is a chance to identify and demonstrate your talent and discover your potential. It’s about understanding your capability and talent to help you grow professionally, and potentially open up new opportunities in your career, it’s not about assessing job performance.

The OurPotential skills register is part of a pilot program to help us find the best way to document and measure our full capability and potential relating to customer service.

As well as participating, we also want to know what you think about the pilot program and any ideas you have to make it better.

The skills covered in this section of the OurPotential skills register relates to your expertise, skills and experience around customer service.

The scoring scales relate to how often these skills are needed as part of your job and your absolute ability above and beyond what is required in your role.
