Our Plan: 2024 Strategic review

NT Police's Executive Leadership Team is seeking feedback from agency staff on the draft version of the new corporate plan: Our Plan 2024–2027.

Background

NT Police needs a corporate plan to ensure it has a clear roadmap for addressing evolving crime trends, allocating resources effectively, and enhancing public safety in the Northern Territory.

NT Police currently work under Project 2030, which was introduced in 2020 and is due for review this year (2024).

The agency is working through a program of change which includes:

• the NT's new Government
• the tri-services transition
• the NT Police Review
• executive changes
• new command structures.

Our Plan

Members’ feedback has asked for a simpler strategic plan with shorter time horizons and clearer tangible goals and targets.

Our Plan has been developed with this in mind. The plan-on-a-page sets out the agency's goals and target outcomes for the next 3 years.
