Harnessing the Territory’s natural strengths and expanding our global reach through international trade, investment and engagement
The Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade, in collaboration with industry, businesses and the community, is developing a new Northern Territory International Engagement Strategy 2022-26. The draft Strategy seeks to strategically harness the Northern Territory’s competitive advantages and expand our global reach.
Targeted and practical actions are outlined in the draft Strategy to increase and diversify international exports and attract investment. Priority international markets are proposed, based on consultations with industry and businesses, a critical mass of opportunities identified and strategic considerations.
Territorians, businesses and industry are encouraged to have their say on the draft strategy, with your input essential to inform decisions made by the Northern Territory Government.
