To enhance our understanding of the effectiveness of our resources and communication strategies, we, the NT Centre for Disease Control (CDC) are conducting a survey to seek feedback from you, our health professionals.
The CDC plays a pivotal role in coordinating responses to notifiable diseases reported by healthcare professionals and pathology services. We use this information to coordinate appropriate and timely public health responses. Additionally, we monitor disease trends, offering guidance to both healthcare professionals and the public to prevent and reduce the transmission of diseases in the community.
Our communication efforts include:
Distributing health alerts, including notifications to clinicians and the general public.
Updating vaccine providers on changes to the immunisation schedule.
Disseminating information on disease trends and research through our quarterly Disease Control Bulletin.
Providing various resources such as public health guidelines and fact sheets, accessible on our disease profile pages at NT Health.
Your input in this survey is crucial to assist us in recognising our strengths and identifying areas for improvement, ultimately enhancing our support for your daily practice.
Survey closes Wednesday 31 January 2024.
