Consultation has now concluded.

The exhibition period occurred Friday 8 September 2023 to Friday 6 October 2023. Thank you to everyone that provided their thoughts, comments and feedback.

The proposed Planning Scheme Amendment follows the NT Planning Commission’s preparation of the Holtze to Elizabeth River Subregional Land Use Plan and two stages relating to the preparation of a draft Area Plan for Greater Holtze.

The Greater Holtze district includes Holtze, Kowandi, Howard Springs North and Holtze North localities.

The Greater Holtze Area Plan (GHAP) will shape the growth of the district into the future. It will support a strategy of maintaining a supply of serviced land for development and identifying areas of environmental and/or social benefit.
