What is the different between a hearing and a community meeting?
Hearings
Hearings are available to members of the community,
organisations or stakeholders who wish to make a formal presentation to the
Inquiry panel.
Registration is required and each person or group will be
allocated 30 minutes. All hearings will be streamed live to the Inquiry’s website and will be
open to the media and the public.
Community meetings
Community meetings are open to all members of the public.
Each
meeting will be for two hours and will include a presentation about the inquiry
and hydraulic fracturing, as well as facilitated small
group discussions.
Registration is not required, however for planning purposes
registration is strongly encouraged. People who registered prior will be given
priority.
