Welcome to the nomination portal for the Veteran Community Awards - a part of NT Defence Week 2026.
This is your opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of current and ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force and the organisations that support them across the Northern Territory.
The Northern Territory is home to one of the largest veteran communities per capita in Australia, with around 20,000 current and ex-serving personnel and their families calling the Northern Territory home. The Veteran Community Awards honour their service, sacrifice, and ongoing contribution to our Territory’s defence industry and local economy.
You can submit a nomination for:
A veteran-supportive employer
A veteran employee who makes an exceptional contribution
An employee who is the partner of a veteran
A veteran-owned business
Nominations may be submitted by employers, colleagues, community partners, and veterans themselves.
