Environment Management Plan

Santos QNT Pty Ltd (Santos) has submitted a revised EMP for assessment under the Petroleum (Environment) Regulations 2016. The revised EMP proposes to do hydraulic fracture stimulation and flow-back and appraisal testing of five wells at the EP161 well sites, located approximately 350 km south-east of Katherine in the McArthur Basin.

On 9 June 2021 the Minister for Environment published the EMP for public comment for a period of 28 days.

Interested persons are invited to view the EMP and make written comments at the Department of Environment, Parks and Water Security (DEPWS) website:
