Consultation has concluded

The Northern Territory Government is keen to hear what you think about the current planning and development system in the Territory and possible options for its improvement.

We understand that members of the community want a planning and development system for the Territory that is open, transparent and accountable. It should listen to the views of Territorians and provide them with confidence that the right planning decisions are being made.

Our goal is to provide the best planning system for the Territory. This includes ensuring that planning laws help to support delivery of the best possible developments. We’re keen to hear your views and ideas about how we can work together to improve the planning system for all Territorians and invite you to have your say as part of this consultation process: Review, Reframe, Renew.

Please take a look at the Discussion Paper prior to completing the survey.

The following survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and is a little more detailed than most Have Your Say surveys. You do not have to respond to all of the questions, but we really appreciate your feedback as the planning system incorporates a range of complex policy and legislative matters.
