NT Disability Strategy Action Plan 2025-2029
We are making the second Action Plan of the 10-year Disability Strategy 2022–2032.
This new Action Plan will cover 2025 to 2029.
We want to make sure the plan reflects the voices and needs of all Territorians.
We invite:
- people with disability
- families and carers
- disability services and workers
- community members
to have your say.
How you can take part
You can share your ideas, thoughts, and feedback in different ways.
1. Make a written submission
- Online: click Upload a Written Submission below.
- Email: OfficeofDisability.DPSC@nt.gov.au.
- In person: drop off at Department of People, Sport and Culture office at Jape Homemaker Centre, 356–366 Bagot Road, Millner NT 0810.
You can send documents, photos, videos, or audio files.
You can only upload one file online. To send more, email them or bring them in person.
2. Complete a survey
- Online: Click Survey below.
- Simplified Easy Read format: click Easy Read Survey below.

If you need someone else to help you make a submission or want to use another format (for example, audio or video), contact your nearest Engagement Partner.
There are 3 Engagement Partners supporting consultation across the Territory:

When to respond
You can give feedback until 11:59 pm, Sunday 16 November 2025.
What happens next
We will use your feedback to shape the Action Plan 2025–2029.
Your ideas will also be looked at along with:
- the Disability Royal Commission recommendations
- the NDIS Independent Review
- Australia’s Disability Strategy.
All submissions are confidential. They will not be published.
A summary report will be written to share what we heard during consultation.
