Consultation has concluded
NT Health is developing a Lived Experience Framework to ensure mental health and suicide prevention services are meaningful, culturally safe, respectful and accessible for all Territorians.
You are invited to have your say on the draft framework so people who have lived experience of mental health challenges, as well as their families, friends and other support people, are heard.
Lived experience is when you or someone you care for has had as an experience of mental illness, mental health difficulties or mental distress.
This includes having treatment or accessing support from mental health or wellbeing services, in addition to experiencing suicidal thoughts or behaviours, or if you have been bereaved by suicide.
The Lived Experience Framework will be finalised by the end of 2023.

The draft framework has been developed for your feedback. A submission may be made in relation to some or all aspects of the framework.
