Draft Dangerous Animal Guideline – Crocodiles as Pets

The Department of Tourism and Hospitality is seeking public feedback on the draft Dangerous Animal Guideline - Crocodiles as Pets.

The proposed Guideline, which will become a regulation, aims to strengthen the management of risk associated with public safety, animal welfare and biosecurity to ensure the protection of the population while balancing pet ownership.

The draft Guideline will be open for public comment for four weeks. All residents, organisations and stakeholders are encouraged to review the document and provide feedback.
