Licensing NT is developing the Liquor Licensee Education Framework to provide industry members with the tools and resources they need to understand their legal and regulatory responsibilities under the Liquor Act 2019 (the Act). As part of this framework, the first resource to be developed is the ‘Guide to Managing a Licensed Premises’.

This guide is designed to be an accessible reference that equips licensees and nominees with a document containing the foundational knowledge required to safely and effectively manage business operations relating to the sale, supply, and consumption of liquor. Additionally, it will serve as the foundation for future resources, including courses that applicants will be required to complete prior to becoming a licensee or a nominee. As such, it is essential for the guide to be a comprehensive and well-rounded document that thoroughly addresses all aspects of holding a liquor license.

To ensure this guide meets this standard and the practical needs of the industry, we are seeking the input of industry members and stakeholders. This survey is an opportunity to share feedback, helping us shape a guide that is both relevant and useful.
