Climate Change
Consultation has concluded
The Climate Change Discussion Paper, released by the Northern Territory Government, shines a light on how we all have a part to play in managing the impacts of this important issue.
The Discussion Paper outlines the effects of climate change in the Northern Territory and the work currently being done to address it. The paper is seeking feedback on this, as well as for informing the development of a Northern Territory Climate Change strategy.
The Paper focuses on several key areas where input is sought on how the Northern Territory
should:
- manage its greenhouse gas emissions effectively
- adapt to climate change
- take opportunities for innovative approaches to mitigation and adaptation.
