Chief Minister’s Awards for Excellence in the Defence Industry

The Chief Minister's Awards for Excellence in the Defence Industry are designed to celebrate outstanding contributions to the defence industry in the Northern Territory and promote the achievements of local defence industry. Each award category aims to recognise excellence, innovation, and leadership across industry and community sectors.

Nominate a Territory business to recognise excellence in the defence industry.

Award categories:

Category 1: Chief Minister’s Award for Excellence in the Defence Industry - Large Business (50+ employees nationally): Honouring a business that demonstrates overall excellence in the defence sector. 

Category 2: Chief Minister’s Award for Excellence in the Defence Industry - Small Business (up to 50 employees nationally): Celebrating a small business with a big impact on the defence industry. 

Category 3: Chief Minister’s Award for Excellence in the Defence Industry - Indigenous Business: Recognising an Indigenous business making significant contributions to the defence industry. 

Finalists will receive 2 tickets to attend the Australian Industry and Defence Network (AIDN) NT Awards and Gala Dinner where the awards will be presented by the Chief Minister, Hon Lia Finocchiaro MLA.
