Consultation has concluded

CPAP

The Planning Commission has now completed the third stage of consultation on a draft Area Plan for Central Palmerston.

Stage One - This stage was an opportunity for the community, property owners and businesses to get involved in the planning process, share ideas about future land use in Central Palmerston and tell us what should be in the Area Plan.

Stage Two - The Planning Commission built on the vision expressed by community in Stage One of consultation and released a draft Area Plan for feedback. The Area Plan aimed to provide long-term guidance for the land use and development in both residential and commercial land in Central Palmerston. Feedback captures can be found in the Stage Two Consultation Report.

Stage Three - The Planning Commission finalised and recommended the Area Plan and associated documents to the Minister for Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics as a proposed amendment to the Northern Territory Planning Scheme.

The Central Palmerston Area Plan was on exhibition for four weeks, with submissions ending Friday 11 December 2020.
