The Territory Government is targeting specific sectors and working with stakeholders and government agencies to improve the regulatory and compliance framework. Current reviews are underway for the tourism sector and the non-government organisation (NGO) sector.

The Tourism Advisory Council has engaged the consultancy services of Deloitte to assist in its investigation into red tape issues affecting the tourism and hospitality sector. Deloitte has developed a survey to obtain your input and feedback in relation to public sector regulation and the rules and regulation that businesses place on themselves.
